Great Borders River Clean: Welcome

The East Lothian Primary Schools Birdbox Project plans to deliver x10 birdboxes to each of the c40 East Lothian primaries over the next two years. The boxes have all been built by Tom in his Borders workshop from timber grown at Baro near Gifford and milled at Tyninghame Sawmill. The East Lothian Primary Schools Birdbox Project is supported by Ardmoor Clothing based at East Fenton near North Berwick.
So far, Tom has delivered x160 boxes across East Lothian with a further x40 going to other schools across Scotland.
The location of these boxes can be viewed by following the link to the interactive projects map where each batch of x10 boxes is marked using a yellow icon.
A further x250 boxes have been built by Tom in his workshop at Bloomfield Cottage and will be delivered before the 2023 nesting season.
